The Chair

The Chair - Camera work shop 2

The task was to use a variety of shots to capture a short moment between a person and a chair. As I already had a few lessons on the general use of the cameras we were currently working on to shoot this, I felt comfortable with the movement and conventions of it.

The positives that i got out of this work shop were quite vast in terms of getting to grips with the cameras, the tripods and how everything comes together. I still know that there is much more knowledge to be learnt to make myself feel 100% secure with the camera and it's seemingly infinite technical abilities.

However when I reached the editing suite, I noticed that with a few shots that some had came back slightly out of focus and that on a few occasions I had broken the 180 degree rule! I left the clips out on which I did that, but I know this is all a learning curve and errors are meant to be made in these sorts of activities! I'd rather it now then in the actual project.

Overall I know this could of been executed to a better standard but i'm happy with most parts of it.
